Poorna Pushkala Sametha Hariharaputhra Swamy temple in the West end of the gramam is getting a makeover. Currently tiles on all 4 sides of temple is being taken out and new tiles will be replaced on its place. Inside the temple also the stone tiles will be replaced with new ones. 15 January 2017 As part of the Kumbabhishekam which is to be conducted on May 5th, 2017 deites were today taken out of their moolasthanam of both temples (mantha kovil & kizhakethalai kovil) and performed Baalalaya Prathishta today morning. Around 9 AM, first the deities were taken from mantha kovil and carried them to kizhakkathela kovil. Then deities were taken out of main sreekovil And then Balalaya Prathishta was done at the South side entrance to Temple.
